Yidan Piano Studio — YAPC 2017 鋼琴比賽獲獎學生
在上週六四月29日剛舉辦成功的YAPC2017年青少年藝術家鋼琴比賽中，我們Studio選派12位學生參加比賽。在激烈的比賽過程中，最終我們有10位學生以優異的成績脫穎而出。在此次比賽中2位學生獲得第一名，6位學生獲得不同組別的第二名，以及2位學生獲得第三名。祝賀他們！我們來認識一下他們吧！
Ariel Wu is a 6-year-old Kindergarten student from Wellesley, MA. She started her piano training with Ms. Yidan Guo since age of 4. Over the past two years, Ariel had participated in a few volunteer activities, including playing piano at the Senior Center. She won the 2nd place in Junior Group at the 4th GOCCA Youth Pianist Competition in 2016, and received Honorable Mention at the Judged Festival in 2017. Then she won the 1st place at the Youth Artist Piano Competition. Ariel enjoys playing in front of audience and she is very excited about the joy her music bring to others.
Angela Dai 榮獲 Junior C組第一名
Angela Dai is a 9-year old pianist who loves music. She began to learn piano when she was six years old. She actively participated in a variety of competitions.She received 1st Place Honor in one of the Crescendo International Competitions: Little Mozarts Music Competition. Because of that, she has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall (in New York) on June 10, 2017. She recently won the 1st place of Young Artist Piano Competition and previously the 2nd place in the 4th GOCAA Youth Pianist Competition in 2016.
Alan is 8 year’s old and is currently in 3rd grade in Hardy Elementary School, Arlington. He is a very active boy who is a fast runner and loves soccer and karate. He also enjoys reading quietly and playing video games. He has been taking private lessons with Ms. Yidan Guo since June 2016. He finds the challenge of learning new pieces ultimately very fun. He received 3rd Place at the Judged Festival in 2017.
Claire Long is 7-year old girl who love music and enjoy playing piano. Claire has started piano lessons with Ms. Yidan Guo since March 2016.She actively participated in a variety of competitions.She received 1st Place Honor in one of the Crescendo：International Competitions: Little Mozarts Music Competition
Belmont Winn Brook Elementary School 3rd gradeHe is very sensitive to music. Influenced by his mother who is an opera singer and voice teacher, he started voice training at 3 years old. He asked to learn piano when he was 6 years old, and since then he has been studying piano with Ms. Guo. In 2015, he performed two short piano pieces at Lexington Follen Church.
Lindsay Miao is a third grader at Vinson Owen Elementary School in Winchester, MA. In summer 2016, she transferred to Yidan Studio to learn from Ms. Guo. She received Honorable Mention at the Judged Festival in 2017.
Rachael Wang is eight and half years old. Rachael started playing piano when she was five and half. She started playing piano with Yidan when she was seven. She won the 2nd place in the 4th GOCAA Youth Pianist Competition in 2016.
Hailey Duan is a 7 year-old girl. She began to learn piano with Ms. Yidan Guo in August 2015. She played in Ms. Guo’s piano recital at MIT Killian Hall in December 2015.
Yolanda is 7 years old, studying in 2nd grade at Sait Jude School. She received Honorable Mention at the Judged Festival in 2017.
Sophia is 14 years old. She began to learn piano with Ms. Yidan Guo in December 2016.
